Italian Bean Sauce

If you're looking for a hearty and flavorful sauce to add to your vegan pasta, look no further than this Italian bean sauce! The creamy cannellini beans, fragrant garlic, and aromatic herbs make for a delicious and satisfying base. The addition of tomato paste adds a rich, tangy note that perfectly balances the earthy beans. Whether you're a vegan or not, this sauce is sure to impress with its simple yet delicious combination of ingredients. Plus, it's versatile enough to use as a dip for crusty bread or as a topping for roasted veggies.

Cannellini beans are a great source of plant-based protein and fiber, making them a nutritious addition to this Italian bean sauce. The garlic and dried herbs (basil and oregano) lend classic Italian flavors, while the tomato paste adds a touch of sweetness and acidity.

This bean sauce can be used in many ways - as a dip, spread, or pasta sauce. It can be thinned out with additional vegetable broth or water to make it more pourable or kept thick and chunky to use as a dip or spread. To use it as a pasta sauce, simply toss it with cooked pasta and some of its cooking water to create a creamy and flavorful dish. It can also be used as a topping for vegetables or spread onto sandwiches for added flavor and nutrition.
