I'm so excited to share with you one of my latest creations - a Roasted Garlic Basil Sauce! This sauce is the perfect blend of two classic flavors, roasted garlic and fresh basil, that come together to create a truly incredible taste experience.
I started by roasting whole garlic cloves until they were golden and soft. This intensifies the garlic flavor, and gives it a sweetness that you can't get from raw garlic. Then I added fresh basil, which gives the sauce a bright and herby flavor, and blended everything together until smooth.

Here's the recipe for you to try at home:

- 6-8 cloves of garlic
- 1 large zucchini
- 1/2 cup of fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Wrap the garlic cloves in foil and place in the oven to roast for 25-30 minutes.
- Cut the zucchini into small slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle the zucchini slices with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the zucchini in the oven to roast for 20-25 minutes.
- Once the garlic is roasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted garlic, roasted zucchini, basil, lemon juice, water, and remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
- Blend until smooth and add salt and pepper to taste.
- If the sauce is too thick, you can add more water to reach your desired consistency.
